Wow. At the Screen Actors Guild awards, it was shown that the Best Actor Oscar is not as much of a clincher as some might think. Up to now, it looked like Sean Penn was the certain winner, with Bill Murray getting the unawarded ‘Honorable Mention’. After Johnny Depp took home SAG’s award for Best Actor in Pirates of the Caribbean, it looks like there’s a three-way run for the prize… between Spicolli, Spackler and The Tough Kid from Nightmare on Elm Street.

Following the Super Bowl’s halftime show, all award shows this year are putting everything on a delay. Although a five minute delay on the Grammy’s didn’t help much when all the technical errors took the show down to the level of a grade 6 rehersal. I agree with a delay on the Oscars.

I don’t need to see Diane Keaton try to revitalize her career in the same way Janet Jackson did!
